Sowise has recently released one of its most significant updates yet. The new update enables document editing in both Microsoft and Google ecosystems, a valuable addition for those organizations that use Microsoft platforms. We made this enhancement in response to customer feedback, indicating a preference for editing and storing signed documents using Microsoft. While Sowise initially began in the Google ecosystem, this latest update significantly expands the software’s capabilities, making it more versatile and user-friendly.

One of the most notable features of the update is the introduction of personal workspaces. This feature enables Sowise users to handle their personal documents with their Sowise account, giving them full control over the documents created and signed outside the organization account. Personal workspaces do not allow the addition of other users. Still, users who want to share documents can create a separate organization for their condominium association, local football club, or family and invite users to those organizations.

Sowise also now supports the creation and use of several organizations with one Sowise account. This feature is particularly helpful for those with a group structure that requires a separate owner, user, or billing for each subsidiary, such as country organizations. Users can easily jump from one organization to another without any hassle.

It is important to note that a user is linked with the Google or Microsoft ecosystem depending on which account they used to register their Sowise account. The organization inherits its ecosystem from its creator, and at the moment, it is impossible to use a Microsoft organization with a Google account or vice versa. We are already exploring various ways to overcome this inconvenience, but we wanted Microsoft users to start using Sowise as soon as possible. Therefore, the feature that enables the ecosystem-independent use of the Sowise will be released later.

We have invested a lot of effort and resources into making this update a reality, particularly the CTO Tomi Helevä. I admire the development team’s commitment to continually improving the software and catering to customers’ needs.

I want to remind you that Sowise allows users to create freemium organizations without monthly subscription fees. You can also invite users without extra charges. As a result, I encourage you all to test our latest release. Create and share signable documents with your colleagues, fellow volunteers, and friends.
